This looks like a beautiful picture book, thank you so much for the suggestion. I love that there is a true story behind it. Have added it to our list to get a copy when we are visiting the States next month.

This is such an amazing, powerful book. I read it every year on September 11.

My daughter LOVED Philadelphia Chickens: A Too-Illogical Zoological Musical Revue by Sandra Boynton. There is a song called "Cows," and now (even at 22) she starts singing it whenever we see a cow!

I love this! If you don't already know it, check out It's Milking Time by Phyllis Alsdurf -- it's really lovely and very accurately depicts, well, milking time 😂 (Thanks for the shoutout, too!)

I had immediately added it to my wishlist when I read your Farms post! Sadly it's not easily available in France or UK so I'm waiting until my US trip next month and will stock up, it looks great.

This is so sweet. We've big fans of the "that's not my series" as well. I'll Love You Til the Cows Come Home is a cute story if you haven't picked it up.

Oh, I'd not heard of that but it looks right up our alley. Just seen it described as "Guess how much I love you...only funnier" so it sounds perfect!
